Hi everybody :)
Today we're going all pink :D Or purple/pink-ish..
I'm working on a system that allows me to pick out the ones I want to review, where I don't have to keep track on the Pokémon I've already reviewed, and which ones I have left. I will probably get it running today if I work hard, so that's what I intend to do ;)

The first one today is Spritzee :D
And just look at it! Aaaww... It's like a puppy Pokémon, all little and cute! I love that it's pink, which once again leads me to think that this Pokémon possibly couldn't be male, but only female :P
I love the eyes, they remind me of the eyes on manga and anime characters, big and shiny. You can almost imagine that this one is standing in front of a human or another Pokémon, stretching its arms to show that it wants to be lifted, or something like that :D I really like it - I wouldn't feel good about bringing it into a battle though :/ It looks so innocent, I would feel bad about letting it fight other Pokémon!

The next Pokémon on the list is Aromatisse!
Now this makes sense, since the evolution of Spritzee is Aromatisse - so these of course should be reviewed in the correct order ;)
This one still has the anime eyes, but now its beak is much more visible, and it actually looks more like some sort of bird :O The colours are still pretty much the same, still very pink and purple and girl-ish - and from my perspective, it looks like it's wearing a skirt! I know it's crazy, but I think that way :P
I love that on Spritzee's artwork there's a lot of grass, and the only flowers you can see are yellow, but on Aromatisse's artwork you can see the sky as well, and there are now all sorts of flowers in all sorts of colours!

The third for today is the Swirlix.
Aaand this one just looks like a mix between Jigglypuff and a marshmallow - do I need to say anything more!? Something tells me it likes to eat flowers from the way it's looking at them with its tongue out of its mouth :P And the red ones are the best! Omnomnomnom!!

The last is Slurpuff, the evolution of Swirlix!
I think this Pokémon is starting to become a Snorlax! I mean, look at the size of it :O
Anyway.. Maybe it likes fruit more than flowers now?? I don't know if it's an apple or whatever, but I'm pretty sure it's staring at a fruit, not a flower :P
Swirlix is a very white Pokémon, but as you can see, Slurpuff has now also gained some colours.. Not a whole lot, really just pink colours.. Now that I look at it, it really looks like a big cupcake - doesn't it!? :O Maybe I'm hungry since I'm seeing delicious food everywhere - but then again, I am baking something as we speak (or write, in this case)..

This is it guys - the blog is almost at 1.000 views now! I think time is moving so fast, and I'm so lucky to have such wonderful people who want to view my blog and read the things I write. I can't appreciate it enough :)

This time I won't be sending out Pokémon cards, but I hope to be able to do so in the future, I just need to get things going a bit more. I hope that you can understand that :)

So I just wanted to say thanks a bunch, it's been lovely and I'm looking forward to a lot more in the future! I need to figure out what to do on the day I receive the last views, I need to do something extra, but I have no idea what - so if you have some ideas, please share them with me, that would be lovely :D

 Special News Today!

Hi everybody.

I hope you're all doing very well, and that you are ready for today's video! As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I would upload a very special video to YouTube today. Probably the best video I've ever recorded.

And as I said yesterday, it's not because of the visual features, because they're practically non-existing :P It's the content that still gives me goosebumps sometimes ;)

Hi all!
Today is the last day with darkness cards, and I don't know about you, but I'm really looking forward to "reviewing" a new type of cards, because I almost can't wait to do more of the ultra rares :D
I need to come up with some other genius way of doing this, just need to figure out how ;) But for now, let's get on with these bad boys.

The first one on the list today is Sandile.
I totally forgot this little sneaky one when I did the review of Krokorok and Krookodile :O Sandile should of course have been there as well, but now he's here and that's fine..
I must say, while I don't really like neither Krokorok nor Krookodile, Sandile is actually adorable to look at, and I really like it :D The colour theme is much the same when you look at Sandile and Krokorok, and then they change a bit on the Krookodile artwork - the Pokémon itself changes colour aswell from kinda green to kinda red :P (That's the closest I can get at describing the colours! Very precise - right!?)
Sandile just looks so defenseless, like it can't do any harm to any Pokémon at all :3

Next up we have Malamar! The first one, if you can say that :P
I think this Pokémon looks so funny, to be honest it actually reminds me of an opera singer for some reason! Just the whole position and the posture of its "body" reminds me of that.. And I know some people will disagree with me on this, and that's fine, but there are SOME Pokémon that you look at and can only think "that has GOT to be male/female!" - and this is one of them. I mean look at it :O It just screams feminism in your face - well it does to me ;)
And if you look at its face, it actually has a beak which I find quite funny. So it looks like a mix between bird, and something else that I just can't put my finger on! :P
A fat, opera singing penguin with hair that looks like something from the blue alien opera singer in the movie The Fifth Element! :D Maybe that was where I got the opera singer part?.. Anyway..

The third one is also a Malamar :D

There isn't really any more to say about the Pokémon itself, but the artwork is of course different :) In the first one, it's just standing in front of a red/brown/orange-ish rock with the XY famous blue sky :D
And in this one it's standing on the ground with some rocks and cliffs in the background and.. oh my.. the SKY again! This time with CLOUDS!!! We're also allowed to get a sneak peak at the grass at the bottom right corner - oh mama!! ;)

And the very last Pokémon is Sableye.
I've had various opinions of this Pokémon during the years it's been here. It has looked creepy, derpy, stupid, never funny though :P I think this one falls somewhere in between the two categories; creepy and cute. In some way it scares the h*ll out of me just to look at it, but in some other weird way I think it's kinda cute..
It's out there all on its own, it actually looks like it's not an adult, like it's still very young, or maybe I'm just imagining that ;) It looks a bit like it's scared of the "camera" that's there (although I know there is no such thing, because Pokémon aren't real, right guys!? :D ... Guys?? ... ??)
And again we have a Pokémon standing on the ground with very beautiful brown/orange colours, while the sky is perfect blue and with nice clouds in there as well. It really is a typical XY sky we're dealing with here! :)

Wow - I actually had so much more to say about these fellas than I had imagined when I started writing! And here I was, worrying that I might now be able to write enough.. Jeez :P

Today’s Pokémon Cards:

Hello everybody! As you can tell, we’re in Yveltal mode today, which means that the 3 Pokémon we have here, are the 3 versions of Yveltal in the XY expansion!

I promised you last time that I would bring something a little more interesting, so here they are :D I’m ready when you are, and since I have no idea when that is, I’m just gonna go ahead and start already!

And the first Pokémon of today, is the regular Yveltal.

It’s a great looking card, and since I’m not a big fan of a lot of the other Darkness type cards in this set, Yveltal is definitely my favourite! I like the red-pinkish colours on the dark background. Is has no really background, well nothing that you can see anyway. It’s just red/blue/green/dark flashes and stripes across the card, as if Yveltal is in a match and has just fired off a great attack! Possibly either Oblivion Wing or Darkness Blade, which are the 2 attacks this Pokémon has :)

The only negative I have to say about this, is that you can only get it in regular or reverse holo - there is no holo version, unless you buy the deck where it’s in, that’s the only way you can get it in that ‘form’.. Which sucks, because it looks GREAT in holo, and I would love to have the opportunity to pull one from a pack :)

The next one is - oh my! - It’s an YVELTAL! This time it’s just the EX version :D

The artwork on this card looks awesome, huge, and dangerous! It looks like a mixture of some sort of lizard-dragon kinda thing with weird/scary/beautiful colours. My mind can’t exactly decide how to feel about this Pokémon :P

It’s just about to jump out through the card and do some crazy attack to wipe out the opponent, or you when you’re sitting with the card! So watch out! As you can see, the 2 attacks this one has, are different from the regular Yveltal :) The attacks are actually weaker, which doesn’t quite makes sense, but on the other hand it has a little more HP. And again on this card you have these incredibly good-looking stripes of different colours, but you also can also see something that looks like stardust and small glittering stars - I have no idea what it is though ;) But it makes the card look great. 

And the very last card I would like to introduce for you today, is another Yveltal! The full art one.

It’s done in a very different style than the others, but I quite like it. I like the sort of blue stars around it, and the purple-ish background goes perfect with the red/grey/black Pokémon. It definitely works! It doesn’t really bring out the same ready-to-battle style that the other 2 have, but something animated and yet with outstanding borders and very thick edges. It doesn’t look as smooth as the other 2, if that makes any sense :P

So, I think that’s it! I can’t really find any more to say, and why push it then ;) I’m looking forward to next time, as I will be doing Xerneas then :D

Today’s Pokémon Cards:

Good day/night to everybody in da room! (Remind me not to write that ever again..) 

I'm ready to begin a new round, and I hope you're ready with me. Today we have 4 darkness type Pokémon that need to be reviewed, so I say we just jump right into it.

They're not the most fantastic or rare Pokémon ever - they're actually quite regular and I now it's been a while since I've reviewed an ultra rare Pokémon, but I will do that in the next one, I promise :)

But the first Pokémon of today, is an Inkay!

This would be the one on the top of course, since there are 2 different in this set ;)

I feel like this is a Pokémon that could be part of Angry Birds. The only difference is that this one actually looks kinda sweet and happy, so I guess it would be the opposite of Angry Birds.. Happy Birds!
It looks a little weird that the Pokémon itself has some pretty bright colours, compared to the background which is really dark! You can see some rocks around Inkay and in the background, the sky is slightly lit up and you can see some stars up there as well. 


The next Pokémon is - can I get a drumroll please.... INKAY!
I like how this could be the exactly same one just on the top of one of those rocks on the picture of the first one! It took some time to get all the way up there, so in the meantime it's changed from night to day and therefore this card is also very much lighter than the other one! Inkay is just chilling up there, probably relaxing after a long walk, looking out on the beautiful nature. And once again, they really like the sky in this set :D Like, a lot!


Let's get on with the second to last Pokémon, which is Krokorok!
I'm not overly excited with these crocodiles I might as well say that now :P And this one really looks derpy! It's just extremely happy while riding down a hill of sand! That was the best day in its whole life :3 It was such a nice hill..
The colours are very cheerful, once again we have the sky in the background, but where the 2 Inkay's are animated, this is a drawn-style Pokémon (I hope you know what I mean, when I write this.. The lines are more clear on this type and the colours are often a little different as well). This fellow is a stage 1 Pokémon, and it's the evolution of Sandile, which couldn't fit here, so I'll do that next time :D


And without further ado I would like to introduce to you... Krookodile!
I guess you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that this one is Krokorok's evolution, if you didn't know, you can look in the top left corner of Krookodile. There you'll see that his is a stage 2 Pokémon, which means that there are 2 other Pokémon that comes before this one, and you'll also see a small picture of Krokorok there as well :D 
The colours work very well together, the red, beige and blue is great (not that I know anything about analyzing pictures and stuff!) The background is very simple, not much going on there. It could look like it's standing in a desert, or maybe an arena. Or maybe just a place with a lot of sand ;D But it's definitely ready to fight! 


So, this is what I managed to do this time! It took me a while, but to be honest with you - these 4 I just needed to get over with, they're not exactly my 4 favourite Pokémon from the XY Base Set :P Next time I'm going to bring something much more exciting!

Hello everybody! 

I hope you're doing good. I'm just enjoying the very last of my weekend, until school starts again tomorrow. It's gone by so fast this time - the weekend I mean.. But that's often the case, isn't it?

So, let's get on with it - we have 4 new cards today, 2 of them are the only 2 electric Pokémon we need and the other are 2 darkness Pokémon :D

Let's start off with Pikachu!

This one looks really good. My boyfriend saw it at some point and he was convinced that it must be some kind of special Pikachu (he's not a collector, just thought it looked too special to be a normal card) :P

It has beautiful colours, and it's one of the more slim types of Pikachu. There have been some pretty chubby ones through the years, this is not one of them though! The contrasts in the colours are really good looking, and it just looks so happy and energetic :D Not really like it's performing an attack, more just like showing off :P

Next up it's Raichu!

I don't know why, but there's just something about Pikachu and Raichu. I always like them. I don't think I've seen a single one that I didn't like yet :P The holo on the cards are actually kinda amazing. I didn't know if I liked them in the beginning, but now that I've seen a lot of them in real life, I've come to like them a lot. And the Raichu is no exception! Looking up at the sky, Raichu looks like he's ready to jump away to something, or just about to make the worst storm in several years. You can almost see the clouds forming a whirl in the sky.

The turn has come to Zorua!

Another great looking Pokémon in this set. I love these non-animated drawings for some reason. I've noticed that they're very fond of clouds and the sky in this set ;D It's almost on every single card that I've reviewed to far. Not that it's bad - they have chosen a great blue colour for it, and it just looks amazing. Zorua here also looks like it's about to go to battle. It looks furious (as much as it can), running towards its target, probably to use the attack; Scratch :D The cliffs in the background look amazing too, generally, the details are great on these cards!

Aaaand the last card is Zorua's evolution; Zoroark!

Greeeat looking! It almost looks like the same background that's on the Zorua card, the cliffs are just a little different and they've made them very dark, so it's almost just the silhouette you're able to see. This also makes you notice the Pokémon itself much more than the background, which works great, especially because they've also placed the Pokémon right in the middle of the picture :D You can't help but notice it. And it looks really cool with the gray/white light stribes (or whatever it is) emerging from the Pokémon. 

It could look like Zoruark is jumping up JUST before it's going to attack its opponent!

They've made these Pokémon very active and I think it's a good way to do it, instead of just having a background and a Pokémon chilling on some grass, or something like that :P This makes it much more interesting, especially when otherwise dull Pokémon suddenly seem cool and strong - that's the way to go :D
